He will speak on the topic ‘The Macroeconomics of Artificial Intelligence’
Abstract: Since the arrival of ChatGPT, the promises of artificial intelligence seem to have multiplied both in economic discourse and in political reactions, with a race for investment that raises fears of a bubble. But what are the real effects we can expect from the spread of these new technologies in the economy? Does AI have the potential to spark a new industrial revolution? And if so, under what conditions, and what will be the scale and scope of this revolution? In this presentation, we discuss the main findings of the macroeconomic literature to better understand the challenges and risks.
This conference is free and open to the general public.
