BETA staff 2026–2027 – tenured researchers

New appointments, transfers, promotions, departures… the start of the academic year provides an opportunity to take stock of our staff numbers, particularly amongst our tenured researchers.

At the University of Strasbourg

Ms Florence Huart has been appointed Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Strasbourg (FSEG).

Mr Vincent Helfrich, already a member of BETA, has been appointed Senior Lecturer (HDR) in Management Sciences at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Strasbourg (FSEG).

Mr Kossi Messanh Agbekponou has been appointed to the post of senior lecturer in economics at theLouis Pasteur University Institute of Technology (IUT) in Schiltigheim.

At the University of Lorraine

Mr Yacouba Coulibaly has been appointed as a senior lecturer in economics at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Administration in Metz.

Furthermore, Mr Julien Jacob, formerly attached to BETA Strasbourg, is joining BETA Lorraine in the post of Professor of Economics at theCharlemagne University Institute of Technology (IUT) in Nancy, and Mr David Desmarchelier, Professor of Economics, is changing posts to join the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Management in Nancy.

At AgroParisTech

Mr Nikola Jovanovic, a recent PhD graduate from BETA, has been appointed to the post of senior lecturer in management sciences applied to forestry planning.
