Two BETA members in the CONDORCET project consortium

BETA is delighted to announce that two of its members, Herrade Igersheim (CNRS Research Director and BETA Director) and Kene Boun My (CNRS Research Engineer), are participating in the CONDORCET project.

The CONDORCET project (CONsolider la DémOcRatie : Choisir une méthode Électorale Transparente) is a PEPR “Mathematics en Interaction” project led by Jean-Baptiste Aubin (INSA, ICJ) and Antoinette Baujard (UJM, Gate Lyon Saint-Etienne), which brings together, until 2029, a consortium of some twenty mathematicians, economists, computer scientists and political scientists from Lyon, Saint-Etienne, Grenoble, Paris, Montpellier and Strasbourg. In particular, the project aims to compare the properties of different voting systems using a unified mathematical framework.
