Internship – EQUIDEC 2 Project

BETA is recruiting two Master’s students in economics, econometrics or demography for a research assistant internship as part of the ANR EQUIDEC 2 project (Geographical equity of decentralised policies: theory and application to assistance for dependent elderly people).
Two internships are available:
- Research assistant – database management: this will involve managing large databases in the secure environment of the CASD, writing commented codes in R for calculating indicators and simulating public policies, and producing tables and graphs to communicate the results obtained.
- Research assistant: this position involves learning about the theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of research, conducting a literature review on the selection behaviour of residents and the prioritisation rules adopted by nursing home managers, and to carry out initial exploratory empirical analyses on waiting times for admission to nursing homes and their determinants, and on the selection of residents by providers in terms of their resources and level of dependency. The internship may lead to the writing of a scientific article and the design of a thesis project.
Duration: 6 months (March to September 2026)
