Tom Bry-Chevalier, a young researcher working on alternative proteins

Tom Bry-Chevalier, a PhD student in environmental economics at BETA and a member of the Climate Economics Chair, has recently published a scientific article comparing the main alternatives to animal meat from the perspective of food system sustainability. Following on from this academic publication, he also authored a popular science article in The Conversation, drawing on this research to inform the public debate surrounding the various alternatives to meat. These findings were also reported by the University of Lorraine and the Factuel website, highlighting their implications for the food and environmental transition.
