The 2026 edition of the annual conference of the AFÉPOP (French Association of Population Economists) will be organised by BETA and will take place in Strasbourg on 6 and 7 May 2026.
This conference is open to all researchers whose work focuses on population economics (gender, family, education, labour market, health, demography, inequalities, etc.).
Keynote lecture will be delivered by Marianne Simonsen (Professor of Economics at Aarhus University, Department of Economics and Business Economics Research fellow at CESifo and IZA), on the topic: ‘The Importance of Early Childhood Resources for Families and Child Development’.
A round table on “Demographic changes and intergenerational transfers” is also scheduled.
