Internship PERCEVAL project – Master 2

BETA is recruiting an intern for the PERCEVAL project, whose overall aim is to assess the potential for developing a platform for marketing forest ecosystem services (FES) in the Grand Est region, and to co-construct and implement a digital platform for exchanging FES with economic partners and civil society players.

Internship project: The aim of the internship will be to study how the general population perceives SEFs and forest management, and to identify the socio-economic, cognitive and psychological determinants of people’s expectations of how forests are managed to provide SEFs. The work will be essentially empirical, based on survey data and choice experiments (CE) carried out by a survey institute.

Education: Economics, forestry engineering, environmental management

Skills: Knowledge of basic concepts in environmental economics, statistical/econometric methods, knowledge of the ecosystem service concept, communication in French and English.

Duration: 6 months

Starting date: February 1 or March 1, 2024
