09 July 2026

On Tuesday 8 July 2026, Quitterie Roquebert, an economist specialising in health and ageing, gave evidence before the National Assembly’s Committee of Inquiry into the causes and consequences of rising poverty, particularly amongst older workers and the elderly, and the shortcomings of public policies in addressing this issue.

During this session, several researchers and economists working on the issues of poverty, older people and dependency, as well as representatives of the ATD Fourth World movement, were heard.

These hearings were recorded and can be viewed on the National Assembly’s video portal.
